I learned to ride a big red just like that (only way more broken) as early as 12. In fact, my grandfather died pull-starting it (heart attack, he was old). It was the workhorse at the mountain cabin he and his sons built near smith-mourhouse in Utah. We used to drive up the cat packed roads to cut our own timber for use in a cast iron stove that heated the place centrally. We had a little sled trailer we would use to haul it back once we processed it, we also used it for pulling sledders around and such. In the dirt it was a death machine, in the snow it was perfect, floated like a boat.

That’s not a bad deal at all for something you can just buy and ride!
Prices on these are constantly going up. It’s actually getting a bit crazy.

Everything 80's seems to be creeping up. Clean 3rd generation Camaros are getting expensive. Nostalgia is real.
